About Erika

I’m Erika Kilburn (née Vass), founder of EV Coaching and Consulting.

My career has taken me across industries that all share one thing in common, people looking for opportunity and direction.

From national newsrooms including Sky News Australia and Nine News Australia, to Apprenticeship Network Providers, Registered Training Organisations, and the NDIS sector, I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of communication, career development, and community impact.

These experiences shaped my understanding of what people and businesses truly need:
• Clear communication
• Practical guidance
• Opportunities to grow

Today, EV Coaching and Consulting brings those elements together to support individuals, employers, and organisations across metro and regional NSW.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) – Charles Sturt University
Recipient of the Nine News Richard Carleton Memorial Scholarship

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAFE NSW

Certificate IV in Employment Services – VERTO Ltd

Why EV Coaching and Consulting Exists

Over the years, I’ve heard countless stories from young people trying to navigate the job market and employers searching for the right people to join their teams.

The challenges are real and often they come down to the same thing:

A gap between potential and opportunity.

EV Coaching and Consulting was created to help bridge that gap.

Through personalised coaching, strategic consulting, and professional development, I work alongside individuals, businesses, and organisations to create clarity, confidence, and practical pathways forward.

Because when people have the right support, everything changes.

EV Coaching and Consulting is proudly based in Bathurst, NSW, supporting individuals, businesses, and organisations through flexible digital service delivery.

Because access to quality support shouldn’t depend on where you live.
